Age Limit: Upper age limit of candidate is 35 years for S.No.1 & 9 Posts; 30 years for S.No.2, 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8 Posts; 28 years for S.No.5 Post; 25 years for S.No.10 & 11 Posts as on 01-03-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess 03 years Graduation Degree in Life Sciences/ Bioinformatics/ Biophysics/ Statistics for S.No.1 & 2 Posts; H.S.C with Science subjects, 1 year Diploma in DMLT for S.No.3 Post; H.S.C with Science subjects, 1 year CMLT for S.No.4 & 5 Posts with relevant experience. Refer notification for post wise qualifications.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Test/ Personal Discussion/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.100/- in the form of Demand Draft/ IPO drawn in favor of “Director, NIV, Pune”. SC/ ST/ DAP and Women candidates are exempted from the fee.

How to Apply: Interested candidates need to send applications through online and send printed copy (downloadable from www.niv.co.in and www.icmr.nic.in) of filled application form along with DD/ IPO (if applicable), recent passport size photograph affixed, and one extra passport size photograph, attested copies of certificates in support of date of birth, educational qualification, experience, caste verification etc by super scribing the Sr.No and post applied for on the envelope to The Director, National Institute of Virology, 20-A, Dr. Ambedkar Road, Camp, Pune – 411 001 on or before 22-04-2013.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess M.Sc Life Sciences, Microbiology for Post No.1, M.D/ Ph.D in Life Sciences with relevant experience for Post No.2, Graduate Degree in Engineering with 2 years experience for Post No.3, MBBS with 2 years experience for Post No. 4, 10+2 in Science subjects, one year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology for Post No.5 and Should have University Degree for Post No.6.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview.
